Irwin Vise-Grip 2078712 GrooveLock 8-Piece Plier Set

The Irwin Vise-Grip Groovelock Plier Set is a fantastic set of pliers and wrenches.

I hate having a tool that does not do what it is supposed to do. I have been turning wrenches and handling pliers for over 30 years. I know a good set of pliers and wrenches when I see one. The Irwin Vise-Grip brand has been around for a long time. They have always been a good reliable tool.

To be a Volunteer Fireman

Are you interested in being a Volunteer Fireman?

This country needs more volunteers.  Especially volunteer firefighters.  Volunteering to be a fireman for your local community can be very rewarding.  Are you the type of person that is willing to help other people in the community in there time of need?

Over 70% of all firefighters in the USA are volunteers.  The average community across the country can not afford to have a full time department.  Just because we are volunteers does not mean that we do not have to be trained and prepared like the paid guys do.  A fire will burn the same way weather it is in the city or out in a farm house.

For more information on Volunteer Firefighters visit my other site at: The Volunteer Fireman.

Are you wanting to raise a Sugar Glider as a Pet

Sugar Gliders are an exotic animal that are gaining in popularity as a household pet.  They can be a lot to handle.  It is not recommended that small children have them as pets.  They do require some one on one attention. But with the proper care they will make the best, lovable pet you ever had.

Sugar Gliders are a highly social animal.  They will bond easily with humans.  But they will need a lot of attention in order to survive.  It has been known that gliders will actually die if they are neglected by their owners.  They do enjoy being carried around in a shirt pocket.  Even if you have two gliders they will both require the same amount of attention.

Sugar Gliders carry their babies in pouches.  They are marsupials.  Gliders can live up to 15 years.  About the same length of time as a pet dog.  They may resemble a flying squirrel, but they are not even in the same family.  Squirrels do not carry their young in a pouch.  One other popular marsupial is a kangaroo.

Gliders get their name from the fact that they love sweets.  Such as nectar and sap. Also their name comes from the fact that they can glide.

7 Important things to remember about your Sugar Gliders Diet.

Sugar Gliders can be a bit of a challenge to take care of.  When taken care of properly they will be very enjoyable to have around.  Your Sugar Gliders diet is a very important part to a successful relationship.  The needs of a Sugar Glider have been somewhat of a mystery to people.  It has only been recently that Sugar Gliders have been kept as house hold pets.  People have been trying to mimic their diets from when they were living in the wild.  Here is a list of things to consider when considering your Sugar Glider Pet Care.
  •   Sugar gliders will eat plant materials and also eat meat.  They are omnivores.
  • When they are in the wild they will feed from nectar, fruit, and insects.  They also will eat small birds, eggs and rodents.  This is hard to duplicate when they are in captivity.
  • When you are feeding your gliders fruit, you should chop it up into small pieces so that they will not pick through it to get only the pieces that they like the best.
  • Sugar Gliders do like nuts.  They should be fed to them sparingly because they may cause them some health issues.
  • If you feed your sugar glider dry dog or cat food, do it sparingly.  It may not be fully nutritional for them.
  • The diet for your sugar glider should consist of a variety of fruits and vegetables.  One quarter of their diet should have protein in it.
  • The list of fruits and vegetables that can be fed to your glider is long.  Including apples, avocado's, bananas, cantaloupe, carrots, sweet corn, figs, grapes, oranges, pears, and many more.
Remember when feeding your Sugar glider, ¼ of its diet needs to be some kind of protein.  A variety of fruits and vegetables along with a meat product is what they will need to stay healthy.  Some hard boiled eggs, some yogurt, cottage cheese, and some tofu are also some excellent options for protein.
